Áine Pennello

Áine Pennello is an audio and print journalist with a focus on serving local communities through solutions-based journalism. She has a background in video news and documentary. She has produced and reported for Soledad O’Brien Productions, ABC News Studios, Hulu, HBO Films, Netflix, and more. She is the recipient of a reporting grant from the International Center for Journalists and was nominated for GLAAD Media’s award for Outstanding Digital Journalism. She lives in New York City and is a board member of the Society for Professional Journalism’s NYC chapter. Áine has a MA in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
